DVD Writer

This is An Optical Drive which is used to Read and Write CD's and DVD's in a PC.

It is Better to have a DVD Writer than a CD Drive, DVD Rom Drive or a Combo Drive.

Speed of an Optical Drive is measured in Kilo bytes per second. The First Optical Drive had a speed of 150 kbps. 2X means 150X2=300 kbps. Now 24X Speed Drives are available which transfer data at a speed of 24X150=3600 kb per second
