Blu Ray

Blu-ray Disc is an optical disc storage medium designed to supersede the standard DVD format. Its main uses are for storing PlayStation 3 games, high-definition video, and data storage, with up to 50 or more GB per disc. The disc has the same physical dimensions as standard DVDs and CDs.

The name Blu-ray Disc derives from the blue-violet laser used to read the disc. While a standard DVD uses a 650 nanometre red laser, Blu-ray uses a shorter wavelength, a 405 nm blue-violet laser, and allows for almost six times more data storage than on a DVD.

During the format war over high-definition optical discs, Blu-ray competed with the HD DVD format.

Bluetooth is an open wireless protocol for exchanging data over short distances from fixed and mobile devices, creating personal area networks (PANs).

Bluetooth is a standard and a communications protocol primarily designed for low power consumption, with a short range (power class dependent: 1 meter, 10 meters, 100 meters) based on low-cost transceiver microchips in each device.

Bluetooth makes it possible for these devices to communicate with each other when they are in range. Because the devices use a radio (broadcast) communications system, they do not have to be in line of sight of each other.

USB Based Bluetooth Adapter Can be added to enable a PC or a Laptop to Communicate with Blue tooth Devices such as Mobiles, Headsets, Mouse etc.
