BUPC - Optional - Spike Buster

Spike buster or Spike arrester is a power strip which filters power for spikes and surges before it is supplied to a PC.

It is not a must, but it is highly recommended to Use. It is connected between UPS (or mains) and PC.

In Case of a Spike or surge attack, Fuse of the spike buster blows off and supply to the expensive equipment (PC) is cut. In case of a major attack, Spike buster burns out - hence protects a more expensive equipment.

Areas near a Railway line or Power Grids are more prone to Such spikes or lightening attacks.
