Hi.. I am having BR 1000 IN. Its presently having 7Ah battery. Will this above battery supports my ups? R u having 2 Batteries Pack? How much maximum AH battery ll support on this model BR 1000 IN??

how much is the battery for APC Back UPS 650va?

deeweb@ I also have APC Back UPS ES 650va and was on the look out for replacement battery. On investigation I found the model has 9ah battery inside. However there was supply issue with that capacity battery last month so I used a 12ah dry cell exide battery instead. The battery is slightly bigger so the back cover won't fit but it is safe to rest the UPS on the battery as the battery compartment is at the bottom for that model. Original 9ah battery from APC you can get for Rs.1200, but I got a 12ah exide battery for the same price. Advantage being longer backup in the process!

Dear Sir, UPS's have a range for battery capacity that they comfortably recharge. 7ah and 9ah batteries come under the range, 650va seems to be charging a 12ah battery as evident in csahu's case, it may not be the same in other UPS's. However, 7ah and 9ah are supported by all UPSs. Thank You.

itRocker@ yes APC 650va comes with original battery capacity of 9ah, perhaps that is why it is able to charge 12ah battery effortlessly. I have verified the charging duration and % charged using the powerchute software provided by APC.
